We are delighted that the first five members of PPDS have accepted our invitation to become Honourary Freemen of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers in recognition of their excellent contribution to the first year of the scheme. In a ceremony held at our Annual Lecture these five outstanding young plumbers were sworn in at the ancient ceremony that stretches back over 400 years. This complements their membership of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) with whom we are jointly running the PPDS Scheme. As they embark on their new careers, we look forward to supporting them as they grow and develop further. They have a bright future ahead of them.
