Golfers back in action at The Horners’ Spring Meeting Friday 21 March 2025.
After the long winter layoff our Plumbers’ Golf Society were back in action this week at the beautiful Swinley Forest Golf Club in Berkshire.

Hosted by our friends in The Horners’ Golf Society, David Hannam, Tony Peters, Daniel Flowers and Luke Peters joined 22 other golfers in The Horners Spring Meeting on Friday 21 March 2025.
Swinley Forest is a private members’ club located between Sunningdale and Ascot that has charmed, inspired and challenged golfers for over 100 years. Designed by renowned course architect Harry Colt, its layout carves its way through spectacular heathland vistas framed by heather, pine woods, azaleas and rhododendrons. With its combination of 2 par 5s, 11 par 4s and 5 par 3s, Swinley plays deceptively long and its undulating greens deliver an extra test of skill to all comers.
A most enjoyable day in dry but overcast conditions, the course was in splendid condition. Whilst no prizes came our way, we were very well looked after by Steve and Maggie Bradbury and their fellow members. The day was rounded off with a splendid carvery luncheon.
We look forward to seeing The Horners join us later in the year at our own New Zealand golf day.
Next up is our Spring Meeting at Wildernesse Golf Club on Thursday 10 April 2025.
