City of London Liverymen – 2024 Brigantes Breakfast
The 2024 Brigantes Breakfast, the ninth Northern lunch for City of London Liverymen and their guests, takes place in the remarkable St George’s Hall in Liverpool on Thursday 20th June.

Principal Guests include Sheriff Alderman Bronek Masojada, retired Old Bailey Judge and best-selling author Her Honour Wendy Joseph KC, The Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, Mark Blundell and the Right Revd John Perumbalath, Bishop of Liverpool.
The Brigantes Breakfast is a perfect opportunity for Liverymen of the London Companies to meet in the North. Recent Breakfasts have been held at The Royal Hall, Harrogate and The Tower Ballroom, Blackpool. At Harrogate in 2023, 22 Masters attended and we hope for a similar turn-out this year.
Before lunch the Brigantes Lecture will celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Cunard Line. After lunch there will be music, including Past Lord Mayor Alderman Sir Andrew Parmley on the magnificent 7,783-pipe Willis organ.
See the flyer for full details of the Brigantes Breakfast, including preferential rates for overnight accommodation at nearby hotels, and also the booking form.
Dress code is lounge suits with and badges of office.
Livery Masters will process into lunch.
The Reception starts at 11.45, and the optional Brigantes Lecture at 10.30 in the Concert Room of St George’s Hall.
Liverpool is well served by rail from London, Manchester and the North. A day trip from London is easy and St George’s Hall is only 150m from Lime Street station.
We look forward to welcoming your Liverymen to the 2024 Brigantes Breakfast.
