Visit to RHS Wisley & Lunch
Master Nick Jones and his Consort Kala, are delighted to invite you to join them for a daytime visit and lunch, at the beautiful and romantic RHS Garden Wisley, in Surrey.
The programme and timings for the day are as follows:
- 10:30am – Welcome coffee and pastry in the Terrace Restaurant
- 11:30am – Tour of RHS Garden Wisley, which takes around 45 minutes
- 1pm – Lunch in the private Tulip Tree Room:
Glass of house wine, beer, or soft drink
Starter: asparagus, peas, pea shoots, and pecorino salad, served with bread & butter
Main: grilled cornfed chicken, and romesco sauce, served with roasted new potatoes & seasonal vegetables
Dessert: vanilla rhubarb panna cotta + fairtrade tea or hand-roasted union coffee
- 2:30pm – Finish, however, members of the group are welcome to stay on until the Garden closes at 6pm. There is the Plumbers’ planter to see and a Garden Centre with plants and shrubs, gardening tools and accessories, and a selection of gifts and homewares.
Directions: RHS Garden Wisley lies between Cobham and Ripley, off the main London to Portsmouth road (A3) south of Junction 10 of the M25. Follow the brown tourist flower signs on the A3 and M25 to the RHS Garden. For SatNav users the address is: RHS Garden Wisley, Woking, Surrey GU23 6QB. Car parking is free.
The nearest stations are: West Byfleet (4 miles), Woking (6 miles) and Guildford (8 miles). There are no taxis on standby at West Byfleet, so you will need to order a taxi in advance.
