Royal Opera House Tour – 22 January 2026

The day will start with a personal guided tour of this landmark building by expert Royal Opera House staff.  We have also arranged a special talk, that only our group will receive, from the engineering team involved in keeping this world-famous performing venue operating smoothly day after day as it hosts an ongoing calendar of incredible events.

The tour will take around 1 ½ hours. We will then enjoy lunch together at a nearby restaurant.

The price of the event including a two-course lunch (drinks excluded) is £50 per person.  Please book and make your payments through the website.  Numbers are limited to 25, so you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Please Note – The web booking system is not accepting further bookings for this tour as we have reached the limit for the tour group.  However, the Royal Ballet and Opera has confirmed they can accommodate a second group tour on the same morning.  If you have been unable to secure a booking and wish to take the tour, please email the Master directly at sandrawcop@gmail.com, advising the names of all those wishing to join.  If there is sufficient interest, a second group tour, including lunch, will be arranged.

Getting there: The nearest Underground Station is Covent Garden on the Piccadilly Line.  Step-free access is available at Leicester Square and Holborn Stations.  There is no on-site parking, however, there are limited public disabled parking spaces on Bow Street and Floral Street.

Detailed instructions on joining, together with menu options for lunch, will be issued around one week before the event.
