Bursary Winners Announced at Installer Show – 26 June 2025
We are delighted to reveal the 2025 Bursary Competition winners from the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, proudly sponsored by Monument Tools.
Following over 160 applications, six outstanding plumbing apprentices have been selected in recognition of their potential and dedication to the trade. Their applications were strongly supported by their colleges and employers, and each will now receive a professional tool kit worth £1,000, generously provided by Monument Tools and the Plumbers’ Charity.
Celebrating Exceptional Talent in Plumbing
The winners of the 2025 Bursary Competition are:
Sol – St Helens College
Amy – Lancaster and Morecambe College
Ciah – Gower College Swansea (Tycoch Campus)
Harley – Poole College
Daniel – Coleg Llandrillo
Oleksandr – Coleg Llandrillo
Each apprentice will be presented with their Certificate of Excellence during a special ceremony at the Installer Show at the NEC Birmingham on Thursday 26 June 2025.
This award helps equip future plumbers with the tools and confidence to succeed. As bursary winner Amy reflected:
“This really has changed my outlook on my career for the better. It’s been a tough few years being the only girl in my town, but this has reminded me to keep going!”
The Company offers bursaries each year to apprentices who would benefit from financial support to complete their training. Applications for the 2026 Bursary Competition will open in October 2025, with winners announced on World Plumbing Day – 11 March 2026.
