Village by Village Really Does Save Lives
The World Health Organisation Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WHO WASH) Strategy vision for 2018 to 2025 is “To substantially improve health through the safe management of water, sanitation and hygiene services in all settings“. Your charity donations to Village by Village to support its work in Ghana fit perfectly with that vision.

Since its inception in 1948, WHO’s work has included the provision of good drinking-water, sanitation and hygiene; they are enshrined in its constitution. With support from the Plumber’s Charity, Village by Village is making a big difference to reduce needless suffering of children in all these three areas. By improving sanitation and drinking water supply in rural areas, by teaching the communities basic hygiene and how to service and maintain these facilities it is significantly reducing disease and saving lives. These two diagrams below from the WHO strategy report show just what a difference it makes. Thank you to all the members who make donations to our charity and enable it to support such good work.
