Geoffrey Bond OBE
Geoffrey Bond OBE enjoyed a distinguished and varied career as a lawyer, businessman, broadcaster and heritage advocate. A former senior partner specialising in corporate and heritage law, he was also an original expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and presented a heritage series for ITV. His extensive contribution to civic and Livery life included serving as Sheriff of the City of London in 2003–04 and as Master of the Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars. He also supported numerous charitable, cultural and educational organisations and founded a scholarship scheme providing young people with opportunities to experience careers in the arts and heritage sector. A funeral service will be held at Southwell Minster on Wednesday 19 August 2026 at 11.00 am. Past Master Paul Nash will attend on behalf of the Master and the Worshipful Company of Plumbers.
