Success at Inter-Livery Golf Event – 13 July 2026.
July is proving to be a busy and successful month for the Plumbers’ Golf Society, with teams proudly representing The Worshipful Company of Plumbers at two prestigious Inter-Livery fixtures. The Paviors’ Charity Golf Day at West Kent Golf Club was followed just three days later by the Marketors’ 20th Inter-Livery Fellowship Golf Day at Verulam Golf Club. Both events combined competitive golf, fellowship and charitable support, reflecting the enduring traditions of the Livery movement.
Paviors’ Charity Golf Day – West Kent Golf Club

The Plumbers were represented by Luke Peters, David Hannam, Tony Peters and Tony Goodhead at The Worshipful Company of Paviors’ annual Charity Golf Day, held at the picturesque West Kent Golf Club near Downe, next door to London Biggin Hill Airport.Hosted in support of the Paviors’ Charity, the event featured individual and team Stableford competitions, on-course challenges, a charity raffle and auction before a three-course lunch and prize presentation.The Plumbers produced a consistent all-round performance, finishing just outside the prize places in the Best Two from Four Team Stableford competition. The day provided another excellent opportunity to strengthen friendships across the Construction Liveries Group while supporting a worthy charitable cause.
Marketors’ Inter-Livery Fellowship Golf Day – Verulam Golf Club

Representing the Plumbers were Richard Harvey, Mike Samuel, Paul Husselbee and his brother John Husselbee in the traditional Best Three from Four Stableford format. The team produced an outstanding performance to finish runners-up against a strong field of Livery Companies, with Richard Harvey leading the way with a magnificent 44 Stableford points to claim the Overall Individual Trophy.
To complete a memorable evening, Richard also won the top prize in the charity raffle during the dinner celebrations—not for the first time it should be noted, much to the amusement/bemusement of his fellow competitors.
Representing the Company
Participation in these events remains an important part of the Plumbers’ Golf Society calendar, promoting fellowship across the Livery movement while showcasing the Company’s sporting traditions. The Society extends its sincere thanks to both The Worshipful Company of Paviors and The Worshipful Company of Marketors for their generous hospitality and outstanding organisation.
