Plumbers Welcome the Lady Mayor – 8 November 2025
The Plumbers Company welcomed the third woman to be elected as Mayor, Dame Susan Langley, the first to adopt the title, Lady Mayor.
Master Sandra Raine and her consort were honoured to be invited by the Lady Mayor to breakfast at The Mansion House and to view the show from the Mansion House grandstand.

Upper Warden Janet Rivers, Renter Warden Michael Cooper, Clerk Debbie Abergil and Lvy. Peter Smith represented the company dressed in blue plumber’s boiler suits and carrying plastic tools and leaks walked with the senior livery float.

Those watching on TV were pleased to hear the Plumbers mentioned in the commentary and see them briefly on screen.
