Past Masters Support Water Pump Installation in Pakistan – 10 July 2025
A thoughtful act of generosity by Past Masters Charles Yuill and Chris Sneath has helped fund the installation of a new drinking water pump in a rural community in Pakistan, supporting global access to safe water — a cause the Company proudly endorses.
Past Masters Charles Yuill and Chris Sneath have recently sponsored the installation of a Drinking Water Hand Pump in Pakistan through Ash, who runs a chauffeur service in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
This is an example of the continuing need to provide such water-based initiatives, which the Livery actively supports through similar projects abroad.
Ash’s family reside in Pakistan, and he has already installed over 45 similar water pumps and contributed to the rebuilding of two mosques within his family community.
The Master and PM Chris Sneath thought it would be nice to share this news with fellow members, as a reminder of how small actions — supported by the Company’s charitable ethos — can have a lasting impact across the world.
