The Worshipful Company of Plumbers joined CIPHE and more than 900 exhibitors at the largest-ever InstallerSHOW, held at Birmingham’s NEC.
This record-breaking event attracted over 38,000 visitors and brought together hundreds of manufacturers, suppliers and brands from across the plumbing, heating, electrical, renewable energy, and kitchen and bathroom sectors. Spanning three exhibition halls, the show provided an unrivalled opportunity to showcase innovation, share best practice and connect with professionals from across the industry.
A particular highlight for the Company was the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers, who welcomed visitors to the stand and shared information about the Company’s charitable, educational and industry-supporting activities.
Our sincere thanks go to our friendly and engaging volunteers: Peter Smith, Louchavan Lemard, Sarah Oliver, Michael and Felicity Cooper, Debbie Abergil, Jamie Fisher, Charles and Penny Brooks, Phil Keeler, Janet River, Tony Goodhead and Richard Soper, together with special appearances from the Master Sandra Raine, her Consort Ian, Paul Nash and fellow Liverymen.
Over the course of the exhibition, we welcomed almost 90 visitors to the stand. Conversations ranged from apprenticeship support and industry challenges to membership opportunities and sponsorship of the Company. We spoke with students, lecturers, manufacturers, plumbers and other industry professionals, demonstrating the breadth and reach of the Company’s activities. Such was the enthusiasm generated that one visitor completed a membership application on the spot.
We were also delighted to celebrate the success of Liveryman and PH247 Co-founder Louchavan Lemard, who was crowned the UK’s first-ever Plumber of the Year at the Installer Awards 2026—a tremendous achievement and a well-deserved recognition of his contribution to the profession.
Congratulations are also due to PPDS member Daisy Turner, who received the Rising Star Award at the Installer Awards 2026. Daisy continues to be an outstanding ambassador for the next generation of plumbing professionals, and we look forward to seeing her future achievements.
InstallerSHOW 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to promote the work of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, celebrate excellence within the industry and engage with both established professionals and those entering the trade. We look forward to returning next year.
