United Guilds Service and Lunch – 20th March 2026
United Guilds’ Service – St Paul’s Cathedral and Lunch at Painters’ Hall – Friday 20th March 2026
This year’s Annual United Guilds’ Service will be held in St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 20th March at 11.15am and the Company will receive its limited allocation of tickets for the Livery Company’s reserved seating area as usual. After the Service the Painter-Stainers’ Company has invited us to join them for lunch in Painters’ Hall, the new home for our office.

A rather splendid event, tickets will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis and those allocated a reserved seat will receive a ticket. Liverymen should wear their livery ties and badge on this occasion.
If Liverymen wish to attend and occupy a seat in the Company pew, please make your booking through the Company website, using the links at the foot and side of this post.
Partners are very welcome to attend the service, but seats for them are in a separate area and are not reserved. Please do note this as it causes embarrassment if we have to move individuals from reserved seats. There should be no entry to the reserved seating area without a ticket and everyone is expected to be seated by 10.45am.
After the Service, the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers has kindly invited us to join them in a drinks reception and three course lunch with wines.
The costs are as follows:
Service only – £10.00 (which is a donation to the Cathedral)
Service and Lunch together £95.00 (including VAT for the lunch and the donation) Note that there are two separate booking options on the website: please use only one.
Please make your application through the website no later than 4pm on Wednesday 11th March. I look forward to seeing you there.
Debbie Abergil
Clerk.
