The Ladle Dinner – 11 November 2025
The Senior Steward, Kevin Thomas, and Stewards invite you to join them in entertaining the Master and Wardens and in honouring the Immediate Past Master, Charles Brooks, at this year’s Ladle Dinner and thanking him for all he has done for the Company over the last year. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to dine at the wonderfully characterful and historic Cutlers’ Hall.
Venue: Cutlers’ Hall, 4 Warwick Lane, London EC4M 7BR
Timings:
- 6.30 pm Reception
- 7.00 pm Dinner
- 10.30 pm Carriages
Dress: Lounge Suit, Livery Ties and Badges.
The cost is £135 per head – to include reception drinks, a three-course dinner, fine wines from our own cellar, coffee and stirrup cup. Booking and payment is via the website: exceptionally payment can be made by bank transfer (sort 16-00-15, a/c 23161144, ref “name / ladle”).
The Ladle Dinner is the main occasion in the year when Liverymen have the opportunity to meet, get to know each other and make new friends. It is a relaxed, fun and informal dinner, this year going back to randomly allocated seating, drawn by the outgoing Master and outgoing Senior Steward. Liverymen who have introduced new members during the year might like to encourage them to join us.
There will also be on sale with Company logos caps, ties, cummerbunds, ladies’ scarves, and the very last of our Plumbers whiskey and gin – so do bring cash/credit cards!
Please note that the event is for Liverymen only and not open to partners or guests and note that pour memoires are not sent.
