House of Lords & Westminster tour & lunch – Tuesday 28 October 2025
You are invited to join the Master and her Consort Ian for an exclusive visit to the House of Lords and House of Commons hosted by Lvy Lord Kirkhope of Harrogate. Liverymen, Freemen and guests are welcome to join us for this personally guided tour of both Houses of Parliament, followed by lunch nearby.
Meet at Cromwell Green entrance of Parliament House promptly at 9.00am for a 9.30am tour start (latecomers may not be admitted). In order to gain entry you must bring photo ID and the invitation you will receive after you book.

At around 11.30 am we will make our way from the Palace of Westminster to the Red Lion pub, a short walk away, where lunch will be provided from midday; lunch should be finished by approximately 2pm.
We are most grateful to Lord Kirkhope for kindly hosting our visit and sharing his personal insights into the fascinating history and workings of Parliament.

Cost: £35.00 per person including tea, coffee & biscuits in the House of Lords, tour of both Houses of Parliament and two-course lunch, with drinks available for purchase at the bar. As usual, dietary requirements will be catered for based on information you provide when you book.
Accessibility
Travel by public transport is strongly recommended, as there is limited parking nearby. Disabled parking is available, but it must be booked in advance – details will be provided in joining instructions for those who book.
Detailed accessibility information will be provided, but please be aware that although the tour of Parliament is fully accessible, there is limited accessibility at the Grade II listed Red Lion pub, however arrangements can be made to ensure everyone can attend.
