Election of the Lord Mayor
This year’s election of the Lord Mayor will be held at the Guildhall on Tuesday 29th September and Liverymen who were admitted to the Livery before September 2025 are eligible to vote.
If you wish to attend Common Hall in the Guildhall to vote in the election of the Lord Mayor you will need an entry pass, obtainable in advance only from the Company office. We have 30 tickets that will be allocated in order of application. Beadles from selected Companies will be on duty at the wicket gates to the Guildhall from 10.45 am onwards. Liverymen should be seated in the Guildhall no later than 11.30 am and arrive in business attire.
The Stationers’ Company have kindly invited us to join them for a three-course lunch with wine following the election, and up to 15 places are available at a cost of £85.00 per head (inclusive of wines and VAT). Liverymen and their partners are very welcome at the luncheon (approx. 1.00 pm for 1.30 pm), but please note that only Liverymen may enter the Guildhall for the election itself.
Please send an email to the Clerk for a ticket for the Election: separately, lunch can be booked through the members’ section of the Company website.
Booking must be made on or by Friday 18th September. It is regretted that refunds cannot be given for cancellations received after this closing date.
If you wish to attend the election only, please be in touch with the Company Office.
