This year’s election of the Lord Mayor will be held at the Guildhall on Monday 29th September, and Liverymen who were admitted to the Livery before September 2024 are eligible to vote.

If you wish to attend Common Hall in the Guildhall to vote in the election of the Lord Mayor, you will need an entry pass, obtainable in advance only from the Company Office. We have 30 tickets available, which will be allocated in order of application.

Beadles from selected Companies will be on duty at the wicket gates to the Guildhall from 10.45 am onwards, and Liverymen should be seated in the Guildhall no later than 11.30 am, arriving in business attire.

Following the election, the Painter-Stainers’ Company have kindly invited us to join them for a three-course lunch with wine at Painter’s Hall, where up to 15 places are available to Liverymen and their partners, at a cost of £80.00 per head (inclusive of wines and VAT). Lunch is expected to commence at approximately 1.00 pm for 1.30 pm. Please note that only Liverymen may enter the Guildhall for the election itself.

  • To attend the election, please email the Clerk to request a ticket.

  • To book for lunch, please log in via the members’ section of the Company website.

Booking must be made on or by Friday 19 September. Regrettably, no refunds can be given for cancellations received after this date.
