Annual Banquet – The Mansion House Monday 16 March 2026 – Price Held
The Master, Sandra Raine, her Consort Ian and Wardens are delighted to invite you to join them for our Annual Banquet in the glorious surroundings of the Egyptian Hall, Mansion House, by kind permission and in the presence of The Right Honourable the Lady Mayor, Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley DBE.

Dame Susan Langley is the 697th Lord Mayor, only the third woman to hold this high office and the first to adopt the title Lady Mayor.
We are delighted to have as our principal guest and speaker the crime writer Felix Francis, son of renowned jockey and literary legend Dick Francis. Dick Francis retired from writing in 2000 but Felix has carried on his legacy and has written the last nineteen “Dick Francis” novels. His twentieth novel, CHASE, will be published later this year. Felix will be talking about some famous moments from his father’s life as a jockey and how he took over the writing of the novels.

Members who book for themselves and a guest by 23 February will be entered into a draw to win one of five signed copies of Felix’s latest best seller, DARK HORSE. Winners’ names will be announced at the Banquet.
The Banquet is the highlight of the Company’s year; a truly spectacular venue, with the chance to dine with family, friends and business associates. A sparkling wine reception will precede our sumptuous 4 course meal. A roving photographer will be present and entertainment will include the popular Post Horn Gallop. A mixture of formality and fellowship.
This is an ideal opportunity to introduce potential new Liverymen, holders or former holders of public or civic office, and professional or business colleagues. You are also encouraged to bring your partners and adult family members as guests.
Dress for men is White Tie or Mess Dress with decorations and long gowns for ladies. The event starts at 6.15pm for 6:45pm, with carriages at 10:30pm after a stirrup cup. Pour mémoire cards will be sent before the event which must be shown on entry to Mansion House.
Thanks to the generous support from our event sponsors PEW & HDR we have been able to maintain the ticket price at the same level as last year. Tickets are priced at £145 (£120.83 + £24.17 VAT) each.
