1147 Sqn Air Cadets Annual Dinner 2024
Master Charles Brooks, Past Master Air Cdre Paul Nash, and Liveryman Air Cdre Barbara Cooper were invited to attend the 1147 Squadron Air Cadets’ Annual Dinner in the prestigious RAF Club on 7th December.
The Plumbers’ Company became affiliated to the squadron upon the initiative of PM Paul Nash during his year as Master in 2022/23.
The squadron has gone from strength to strength, and under the leadership of Flt Lt Sulaiman Faisal, has grown hugely and can now boast almost 90 cadets. It provides a great focus for young individuals in a relatively deprived part of East London, and the Company is delighted to be able to support them.
The dinner, held in the RAF Club in Piccadilly, London, was excellent as ever, and the esprit de corps amongst the cadets was outstanding. Two of them gave after dinner speeches and PM Paul Nash was delighted to be able to present the Cadet of the Year medal to Cadet Cpl Ehi Amusa-Eki.
